Ronald McDonald House

There are two Ronald McDonald houses here in Kansas City and a Family Room inside Children’s Mercy Hospital. These are places where moms and dads can stay while their children are in the hospital. There are two ways you can help Ronald McDonald House Charities.

1. Bring in aluminum pull tabs from beverage cans, pet food containers, etc. There are containers for the tabs by the soft drink machine and on the table outside the church office.
2. Bring in unused keys. If you have mysterious keys that you no longer know what they unlock, bring them in for recycling. There is a collection jar outside the church office.

The aluminum tabs and keys are picked up by Pat Orton and taken to Ronald McDonald House. In 2010, Ronald McDonald house recycled more than a ton of keys and earned $4,800; and earned $25,000 from recycling pop-tabs.

The collection jar is located on the table just outside the church office.
