Penny's Place Nursery

The nursery at St. Michael’s provides a common area for play and two smaller rooms which are equipped with cribs for sleeping and a changing station. One of these rooms is also set up for infants and nursing moms. Pagers are available for those who bring their child to the nursery. This provides a quick and easy way to summon the parent if the need arises.

Your child will have fun playing at the Brio train table and the Lego table. They will love the clubhouse climber with slide and the playhouse. Also available are dress-up clothes, books, blocks, and age-appropriate toys for both infants and toddlers.

Our nursery staff is all paid, fully trained in safety, policies and procedures. They are energetic and love interacting with young children.

Penny Hoober is our Nursery Coordinator and can be contacted through the church office (913-236-8600). If you would like, she will gladly give you a tour of our wonderful childcare facility. The Nursery also provides childcare for other church events as requested.

St. Michael's Youth Minister, Drew Vining, maintains a list of youth (grades 6-12) who are interested and available in babysitting for members of St. Michael's. To obtain a copy of the list, e-mail him at drew@stmaa.com.
